Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated individual. The individual will assist with accounting and reporting for the various Private Debt and Equity commingled funds, separate accounts, and joint ventures managed by CenterSquare. The position will be based in CenterSquare’s Conshohocken, PA Headquarters.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly and quarterly accounting, and investment analysis for active private debt and equity real estate investments
  • Record monthly and quarterly journal entries and provide review of Fund Administrator prepared financial reports
  • Assist in the preparation and review of client quarterly and annual financial reports
  • Assist with preparation of quarterly client and consultant questionnaires
  • Assemble documentation and information requests for external audits and annual tax returns
  • Calculate performance metrics and maintain performance workbook on quarterly basis
  • Assist with the calculation and review of advisory fees
  • Assist in implementation of technology to automate reports and add efficiencies to the accounting close process
  • Manage data and coordinate workflows amongst third-party property managers and outsourced accounting vendors

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA is a plus
  • 2-4 years in accounting and financial reporting positions; real estate accounting experience preferred
  • Experience with MRI or Yardi is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to prioritize and execute effectively while multitasking
