Internship Program:

The Real Estate Securities internship is an 10-week program (June-August). As an intern, you will work alongside the portfolio managers and analysts as they construct a portfolio of public stocks intended to outperform stated benchmarks in any market environment. The internship will be based in CenterSquare’s Conshohocken, PA office and is an in-office position.

Description:

  • Receive on the job training and work on special projects as well as daily responsibilities to support the team
  • Learn how to model, value and forecast public securities
  • Participate in portfolio and broker meetings
  • Participate in tours of local assets, when available
  • Attend weekly lunch and learn sessions with various professionals in the organization to gain an understanding of how the firm operates
  • Exposure to portfolio managers and senior leaders in the organization
  • Assigned to a mentor who will provide professional guidance throughout the internship
  • Attend social networking activities which will occur over the course of the summer
  • Project presentation to team members/senior leaders at close of internship

Qualifications:

  • Strong academic background and GPA, majoring in finance, accounting or economics
  • A keen interest in real estate, the stock market and/or macroeconomic events
  • Superior knowledge of excel required (i.e. vlookups, macros and index)
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Outgoing personality, demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task
